The Winnipeg Folk Festival is here once again! Five days of music and merriment are set to take place at Birds Hill Park from July 7 t0 11. Daily passes are still available, and so are five-day passes with camping in the quiet campground. You can find all your festival information and schedules online at www.winnipegfolkfestival.ca.
King John Boxing presents ‘Hometown Heroes Live Professional Boxing’ on Thursday July 8 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. The main event features Winnipeg’s first ever WBC World Title fight, with Olivia ‘The Predator’ Gerula (Winnipeg) defending her WBC Women’s Super Featherweight Title.
