Federal Lights Hits Studio To Record New Album

The month of January has been a busy one for Winnipeg band Federal Lights. They have been hard at work on their debut full length record entitled "We were found in the fog", with Rusty Matyas (Imaginary Cities) holding down the producer role and engineer/mixer, Cam Leoppky (The Weakerthans, John K Samson, Cannon Bros) working the board. The band has been recording at Leoppky's brand new studio, Argyle Studios, and has proved to be a world class facility. The album should be wrapped up come March and set for a release in August of this year with a full canadian tour to follow.
