CMT Music Video!

So, wow, I barely know what to say. The past 3 weeks have been incredible, a whirlwind of growing relationships and planning for one of the single most exciting things in my career so far.
About 3 weeks ago I got a call from Allan Reid at Maple Music proposing the idea of shooting a music video. A day later he introduced me to award winning video director and film maker Jeth Weinrich who fell for my music just as I fell for his films and videos. A few days later the concept was born, a beautiful and simple portrayal of me as a person and as an artist, and also of the song for which it's being filmed, "Possibility."

Yes, "Possibility" is the chosen one, and I couldn't be more happy.
I also couldn't be more happy with the support it has. We approached CMT Canada and they are supporting us 100%! Thank you so much to everyone at CMT, you don't know how much this means to me!

So, some more cool things...one night my phone rang and it was Jeth, he said "hey, hold on, Raphael wants to talk to you" and he continues to pass the phone over to the man who Paris Vogue named as one of the top 10 photographers in the world, who has been the one behind some of the most influential fashion ad campaigns for Guess Jeans, and who received endless recognition for his work on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit...this guy is Jeth's best friend, Raphael Mazzucco.
He tells me that Jeth was over at his place and was playing my music for him and his family, and that they loved it, and wants to do a photo shoot with me. Me! Couldn't believe it.

Recently I've been left many times thinking, why me? Why am I so lucky? All of my dreams are coming true...and I couldn't be more thankful for the people who have been there behind me all the way along, watching this all unfold, slowly but surely.

March 13th I play a showcase in Toronto at The El Mocambo for Canadian Music Week and the very next morning my mom and I fly down to Los Angeles, California to meet up with Jeth and Raphael.
We will do the photo shoot Sunday, and start shooting the video Monday. We'll start in downtown LA, shoot from sun up to sun down. The next morning (5 am apparently) we will drive to the desert and shoot until sun down again.

I'll post another blog once I get down there, probably after the photo shoot, regardless I'll be sure to keep you posted on the happenings. I'm so excited! Woo!

Talk to you all soon!

Love
Sierra
