About

The Winnipeg Folk Festival has launched tickets for the 51st festival, taking place July 9–12, 2026, at Birds Hill Provincial Park. The 2025 festival saw record attendance, with sellouts across four-day tickets, all campgrounds, and day tickets. For the upcoming festival, attendees are encouraged to take advantage of Tier 1 pricing to secure their tickets early and save.

The 51st festival’s artwork is unveiled. It is designed by local graphic designer Roberta Landreth, and celebrates the Winnipeg Folk Festival by weaving together connection, warmth, and the wilderness of Birds Hill Park. Much like the environment the festival takes place in, the surroundings feel alive, from the flowers to the trees and even the typography. The one-of-a-kind lettering is organic and human, while the colours are earthy yet vibrant, reflecting our community. Altogether, this artwork becomes a visual celebration of people and music, encircled in the sun’s warm embrace.

“The 51st edition will be everything that makes this festival special. We encourage folks to get their tickets early, so they don’t miss the chance to be part of the incredible folk fest community and discover new music.” said Valerie Shantz, Executive Director. “The 2026 creative from graphic designer Roberta Landreth really showcases how our festival is moving into the future with a community hug at its soul. We’re excited to carry the festival into the next 50 years with all of you.”

Tier 1 tickets are now on sale. Folks can purchase online or in person at the Winnipeg Folk Festival office (203–211 Bannatyne Ave).
