Pop Diva, Jazzy Folk Singer, Alt Metal Soprano, Indie Emo Queer, who is Violet Vopni, anyway? A versatile singer songwriter, Vopni's non conformist lyrics go from tongue in cheek to ugly crying and everything in between. Alongside Tina-Marie Waterman, the duo delivers powerful harmonic performances in a variety of vocal styles.

Vopni and Waterman have had various band lineups throughout the last two decades, including Helfreya, The Keen & The Kind, and Penny Arcade to name a few

Vopni is set to release her fourth album in 2024. Her discography to date includes albums "Shieldmaiden" by Helfreya, "One More Fantasy" and "Burn Your Life Down" under Violet Vopni.

Vopni has been busy hitting the stage playing Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Winnipeg Jazz Festival, Recovery Day, Whoop & Hollar Folk Fest, Night Market and venues around Winnipeg.
