Homegrown prairie music folk/country. Singer/songwriter. Metis influence.

Born just south of the Turtle Mountains in Deloraine, Manitoba, my early years were influenced by farm life and Métis mountain music. I started singing at an early age with inspiration from old style country music and Métis fiddle music. I attended Crocus Plains Regional School from 1976 until 1979 where I joined the music program and became a member of CP Express, the Crocus Plains rock band as the lead male singer. I began writing my own music in 1994 and continue today. I acted in the following films; "Canada a Peoples History" playing a Métis Soldier, and performed  "Métis Pride" in a BBC Scotland production of "A Highland Empire". I am currently working on my first full length CD. I have wrote a number of songs of which I am recoding eleven and also I am also recording Crazy written by Willy Nelson and made famous by Patsy Cline. I am working with Canadian producer Craig Fotheringham. Craig is a proven producer with the experience I needed to produce a winning product. All the songs are designed for radio play, from fast paced bar tunes to slow moving ballads which should prove to be enjoyable to all country music fans. I will be releasing the CD in the summer of 2009.

I have since played as a duo for the past three years, and now am starting to write for a second album. I have taken vocal coaching from Bruce Moore and validated my range and further developed the power in my voice.

I have always enjoyed entertaining and am busking at the forks on a regular basis, for praciice and the enjoyment of entertaining.
