So long Donald, hello my Market home…

We’re excited to let you know that Manitoba Music has moved! You can now find us at 530-112 Market Avenue in the East Exchange, just down the street from MTC and the Centennial Concert Hall and near Waterfront Drive. Being in this new, sun-filled spot is energizing and we’re looking forward to welcoming you in the coming weeks, stay tuned! In the meantime, we have a lot of boxes to unpack!

What’s New

Our new space has the gorgeous heritage building vibes we loved about our place on Donald with a few key improvements to access and safety, including:

  • Sidewalk-level entrance with powered door
  • Assistive device lift in foyer to main floor with powered door
  • Elevator access to fifth floor space
  • Two washrooms, including one wheelchair accessible, gender neutral room
  • Designated accessible parking spot nearby on the same side of the street
  • Quiet, mixed use area with plenty of residents as well as businesses, trees, and nearby coffee

A portion of our office is on an 8” raised floor. We’ve purchased a portable ramp to ensure access to all areas. For folx with assistive devices who will need access using the lift and elevator, please contact us one or two days prior so we can make arrangements.

Please stay tuned for a more detailed description of location on our contact page soon.

Hours & Access

Manitoba Music has a hybrid work model, with the team confirmed in-office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10 - 4PM, and other times by appointment.

To access our office, visitors will need to buzz in through the enterphone (look for us in the electronic directory or buzz 530).

If you’re hoping to connect with a staff member for a consult, please schedule a meeting in advance so we can make sure the people you need are available to support you.

If you’re looking for a hot desk to do some dedicated work or drop in to renew your membership, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the days to do that.

If you’re looking for a space to host a meeting of your own, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

The Area & Parking

This corner of the East Exchange has plenty to offer, including the Saddlery restaurant next door, nearby coffee shops (Harrisons Coffee Co., Colissimo Coffee Roasters Cafe, and Parlour), and the greenery of Stephen Juba Park.

The City Hall bus stop is a block away.

There is metered street parking and two nearby lots, but please note that parking can be challenging and you may need to look on nearby streets including James, John Hirsch Place, Rorie, Waterfront, and Bannatyne.
