Manitoba Music is partnering with Real Love Winnipeg and The Forks to present a series of performances to celebrate artists from Manitoba and our vibrant live music scene. Taking place in November 2022 and March 2023, all events will be free and open to the public.

Performances must be ‘family-friendly’ in language and content. We welcome submissions from artists of all ages and genres. Final performer selection will rest with Real Love Winnipeg with input from a selection committee of industry professionals. This project will have a strong focus on gender diversity and IBPOC and LGBTQ2S+ voices. This is a paid performance opportunity.

Artists considered for this opportunity must:

  • Perform mostly original music for a 60-45 minute set
  • Have a current or upcoming release (single / EP / full-length) and/or professionally-produced video
  • Be a Manitoba Music member and a current resident of Manitoba (if selected to perform)
  • Be available to perform Thursday evenings in November 2022 and/or March 2023 (exact March dates TBD)
  • Be prepared to participate in the promotion of the events on social media
  • Have music, bio, and photos available online. 

Preference will be given to artists who:

  • Have cultivated a local audience and local media coverage
  • Have a track record of professional  live performances
  • Have a strong social media presence

Submissions will be evaluated based on:

  • Music
  • Track record
  • Demonstrated audience following
