Call for Participants: Manitoba Film & Music Grant Application Refresher

Posted on

Deadline: April 21 2022 at 4PM

Having an unsuccessful grant application can be a discouraging setback but it can also be an opportunity to strengthen your strategic planning. If you’ve had an unsuccessful MFM Music Recording Production Fund application in the last year, Manitoba Music and MFM are here to help. We're launching a grant application refresher program for artists and industry professionals in Manitoba.

This program will pair participants with experienced mentors to help re-tool and re-work a previously unsuccessful MFM Music Recording Production Fund application over the course of two sessions. Under the guidance of their mentors, participants will reevaluate their plan critically and make the appropriate changes to strengthen their next submission.

This program will focus heavily on the marketing, project plans, appropriate funding levels, and sonic quality of the demo recordings being submitted and will only briefly cover business registration, application forms, and budget.
