Call for Submissions: Snack Sessions | Deadline: Sep 17

Manitoba Music is launching a new project: Snack Sessions. In each session, an artist or band will be featured in a live performance video, streamed on Facebook Live for Manitoba Music's 7,800+ followers, with a written interview component to be released simultaneously on manitobamusic.com.

This is an opportunity for emerging artists to have a live performance video produced by Manitoba Music, while the online interview portion allows members to share their experiences and help promote upcoming shows, releases, tours, projects, and other activities.

Artists considered for this opportunity must:

• Have performed live in the past year
• Be capable of performing 2-3 songs of original music live
• Have a recent or upcoming release (demo/EP/LP/single), tour, festival set, or string of shows
• Be a Manitoba Music member and a current resident of Manitoba
• Have their own backline (e.g. drum kit, keyboard, amps, etc.)

To submit:

• Fill out the submissions form at manitobamusic.com/submissions
• Update your Manitoba Music profile with:
  • Current music (up to three tracks -- may be selected for streaming playlists)
  • Current artist bio     
  • Current high resolution image (300 dpi) uploaded to “Files” section
  • Links to social media

Submissions will be evaluated based on:

• Music
• Recent and upcoming activity
• Rationale
• Quality of promotional materials
