Aboriginal Artists and Industry Accessing Support from FACTOR

Kimberley Dawn, Don Amero, Jade Turner, Shane Yellowbird, Elisapie Isaac, and Ghostkeeper are some of the Aboriginal artists who have been approved for support from the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR) in 2010. The Manito Ahbee Festival Inc, Manitoba Aboriginal Music Host Committee Inc, Indian Art-I-Crafts of Ontario, and Arbor Records Ltd are the Aboriginal industry stakeholders who also received approvals thus far.
FACTOR is dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian independent recording industry. Support is available for recording demos, recording albums, touring, marketing, showcasing, delivering conferences, and a number of other music-related activities.
