The Vancouver Community College has a great week-long program similar to AMP Camp called the Aboriginal Music Lab and they're currently accepting applcations for the June 2-6 session.

One of the most significant elements of the Aboriginal Music Lab will be the Live Studio Lab. These sessions will focus on the development of real studio experience. Participants will collaborate and experiment with a studio ensemble made up of some of Vancouver’s most sought-after studio musicians and producers. The purpose of these special sessions will be to give Lab participants individualized experiences composing, arranging and producing their own work in a real, hands-on environment. Participants will be able to take with them both a demo recording of their new work and the powerful experience of having worked with highly experienced studio musicians and local producers.
