Since 1987, the Manitoba Audio Recording Industry Association (MARIA) has promoted the work of Manitoba artists and has provided professional development services to help music industry workers succeed as cultural entrepreneurs. Through its programs and services, MARIA helps people in the music industry find their community and build sustainable careers.

Music Industry Training Coordinator
MARIA is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the position of Training Coordinator. The Training Coordinator will deliver training events aimed at artists and other music industry professionals; develop training resources for the Manitoba Music Industry Resource Centre; assist in the development of on-line training programs; consult with artists in all aspects of their career and professional development; and oversee the administration of the Resource Centre.
The Training Coordinator will have a excellent knowledge of the music and sound recording industry, excellent organizational and administrative skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and budget management skills. Knowledge of office procedures and computer literacy is essential (Microsoft Office, database management, basic design and desktop publishing). Experience in training program development and event planning is an asset, as is experience working in the not-for-profit sector.

Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
