Orvis Sings John Lennon & Tom Petty at The Park Theatre (Oct. 30)

Broken Cloud Entertainment is proud to present the second in the Orvis Sings concert series. Orvis Sings Lennon & Petty at will be held at The Park Theatre on Sunday October 30, 2022 with special guests Love Haul opening the night. Joining Orvis onstage to perform his favourite John Lennon/Beatles and Tom Petty tunes for the evening is a local all-star line-up of Dr. Shaun McDonald (keys), Tony Pizzi (guitar), and Vaughan Poyser (bass).  This event will also include the first ever live performance of a new Orvis original titled Love In Vain.

"Love In Vain has been in the works throughout the pandemic between lockdowns.  It was an absolute joy to record with the intent to just have fun.  It's an odyssey.  The song goes through all these changes.  It has elements of Prog, Rock, Pop, R&B, Trap and everything else.  The plan is to release the full seven-minute version as well as single edits and a video before the end of the year or early next year.  I believe it will be part of an EP of similarly-styled songs recorded at Studio-23 that are nearing readiness for release.  Dr. Shaun was involved in the tracking and to have him perform Love In Vain with me live will be amazing.  It's not to be missed."   -   Orvis, Sept. 2022
