Don Amero has had a great year and may soon have the hardware to show for it. His latest CD 'Deepening' released February of this year has received 4 nominations at 3 different festivals:

Aboriginal Peoples Choice Awards (Nov. 6th, 2009) - Entertainer of the year and Folk/ Acoustic album of the year

Canadian Folk Music Awards (Nov. 21st, 2009) - Aboriginal songwriter of the year

Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards (Nov. 27th, 2009) - Male artist of the year
