A Manitoba Fiddle Legend has passed, CLIFFORD MAYTWAYASHING

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a Manitoba Fiddle Legend CLIFFORD MAYTWAYASHING

Cliff was a exceptional talent on the Fiddle scene in Manitoba and Canada. He recorded 4 albums with Sunshine Records, starting in the late 70's. His latest album Skiffle Fiddle, was recorded only 2 years ago. Cliff was well known for playing dances, fiddle contests and Wedding thru out Manitoba. One of his highlights was playing at the Manito-Ahbee Festival, on the main stage with a few other legendary fiddler's. He will be missed.
