Ashley Robertson #1 In Italy and Germany

19-year-old Winnipeg country singer/songwriter Ashley Robertson has a song sitting at #1 across major parts of Europe. Since last fall, Robertson’s song “Living In Misery,” taken from her self-titled debut album, has climbed the international charts, landing at number one in Norway and Sweden in early October. Since then the single has spread across Europe, taking the top spot in UK and on the Indie World Country chart before the end of 2003. Most recently, the song was named #1 in Germany and Italy (January 30, 2004) by European Country Music Access (formerly the European Country Music Association).
